Personally, I have always been biased towards the guitar in the transformative effects dry through an amplifier. I strongly influenced to take the guitar tracks saturated tones based Master of Puppets by Metallica and justice for all albums. Seriously, when I heard the album I fell in love and I found my vocation. But I could not get this kind of sound from any individual amplifier. Much of this could be that I have half or full stack, just your guitar amp average. However, I am several Marshall, Peavey, Ampeg … the list is long. Even with independent effects pedals, distortion pedals as many that were available, I just could not pitch until I started playing around with the guitar effects processors.
Later I found out amplifiers manufacturers guitar with built in guitar effects. I thought it was a concept very well because I was running my unit effects through an amplifier anyway. However, there was still something missing in the combos. Then one day I tried a Line 6 Flextone Amp for Guitar Center here in the Tampa, FL. Let's say that was really amazed by the tones that he was out of this thing. I took a look at the specifications and was a Flextone II with a 12 "speaker (1×12). I ended up buying the amp then became more familiar, not only with its potential to produce great rock and metal distortion, but also its versatility.
The Flextone II has standard effects such as delay, chorus, reverb, flanger, etc.. My rave is the greatest amp models and distortion of capacity available. You can get a variety of shades of blues, country and jazz to rock and metal. My favorite model is the Insane setting, with the gain of the elbow eight years. Now, I'm not super technical, but after digging deeper, I think the Flextone series consists of numerical models. From what I understand this is supposed to give you more than its so true that the sound not treated as an amplifier many more / sound effects combined. Anyway, I've always been very impressed.
I also ended up buying the pedals large. For me, this is a must and should be if playing live. Never played through the first generation Flextone amplifier, but a friend who bought Flextone III. I do not know what is the difference, but we put our amps side by side and I played them both with the same guitar and amp of the same configuration (III a few more features) and I prefer the Flextone II Flextone III during. I do not know if the speakers are different, but it sounded like two completely amplifiers different. The III was not bad, but I think I had the best quality for the style of music you prefer to play.
The only drawback I see is that I Flextone II has had a change of tone. I do not usually use ton effects, especially just late for my son and a chorus bit in my rhythms and sounds. But occasionally I throw in some change tone or a kind of harmonizing on my guitar solos. I also would like the pedal was a little cheaper. The price is reasonable Flextone (surely get what you pay) but if you buy the pedal with it, then you end up paying a heavy amount of money at a time. Of course, "big money" is relative. As for tone, ease of use, versatility, power, reliability and virtually everything else, I give two thumbs up.
